This workshop was co-conducted by the Faculty of Electrical and Computer Engineering and Iran Energy Association. The main discussed topics in the workshop included Introduction to GAMS, Optimization Models, Uncertainty modeling methods in power system problems, and Robust Optimization (RO) method for uncertainty modeling .

A two days workshop titled "Micro-grids and Smart-grids" was hold on May 9 and 10 2015.This workshop was conducted by cooperation of the Faculty of Electrical and Computer Engineering, Iran Energy Association, and Tabriz Distribution Company. More than 200 participant participated in the workshop at the Faculty of Electrical and Computer Engineering.
