An energy hub (EH) is considered as a unit where multiple energy carriers can be consumers, producers, converted and stored. During planning and operation, the energy hub can optimize the energy consumption. This concept makes customers flexible to participate in demand response programs (DR) and increase renewable energy reliability. Combined heat and power (CHP) play a substantial role in the energy hub, especially during peak hours. CHP has more efficiency than the electricity generation process. The energy storage system (ESS) use to capture energy at times that is not needed for using this energy in the required time. ESS benefits are such as increased system efficiency, reduced emissions, reduced fossil fuel consumption, reduced size of production Storage can include heat and electricity.
