Foad Heidari Gandoman
Short Biography:
Foad H Gandoman, who received his PhD at the Vrije Universiteit Brussel (VUB) with the Battery Team (BIC) in Belgium. He was a project engineer, research assistant, and technical project manager on EU projects such as ASSURED, GHOST, Vision-xEV, and ACHILES in terms of Li-ion battery, E-mobility, and renewable energy resources over the last few years. Also, he has more the 50 publications in terms of renewable energy applications, rechargeable energy storage, and electric power network performance. He is editor of the International Journal of Electrical Engineering & Education (IJEEE) and has been announced as a guest editor in the journals Sustainability and Engines in 2020 and 2021, respectively. Dr Foad H Gandoman is a visiting researcher at the University of Tabriz, working on Li-ion battery performance for electric mobility applications. His research interests include reliability and safety in assessments, power quality, renewable energy-based Distributed Generation (DG), battery (Li-ion)/energy storage and Electric Vehicles (EVs).
